ACTOR RAPE CASE GOES TO COURT

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:34 pm

LATEST: British soap actor BEN FREEMAN will face trial for the rape of a 16-year-old girl after hoping the court would reject the case.
The Emmerdale star - who admits having sex with the girl, but claims she consented - could face a life sentence if found guilty.
The troubled actor stands accused of raping the British holidaymaker at the Almond Beach Village Resort in St Peters, Barbados, on 29 November (06).
Court spokesman Sgt David Welch says, "The magistrate has rejected the defence’s ‘no case to answer’ submission. Further witnessed will be called before a final decision is made - and the alleged victim will be one of the witnesses."
