Licence to treat

Posted in: Bizzare Stories — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:23 pm

A British ice-cream parlour has been forced to get a drinks licence - to sell rum and raisin flavoured treats.
Owner Paul Taylor, 52, from Weymouth, Dorset, has also been told he can’t sell the coronets to anyone under 18 because they have been made with real rum.
He said: "It’s barmy. You’d need to eat 25 tubs to reach the drink-drive limit." The rum and raisin ice-cream was deemed to have an alcohol content of two per cent - four times over the legal limit.
