STATHAM SIGNS UP FOR DEATH RACE 2000 REMAKE
British tough guy JASON STATHAM has reportedly signed up to star in the remake of cult classic DEATH RACE 2000.
Alien Vs Predator filmmaker Paul W.S. Anderson will direct The Transporter star in the movie which, although not a sequel, will be called Death Race 3000.
The 1975 hit Death Race 2000, about a lethal road race set in the future, starred David Carradine and a then-unknown Sylvester Stallone, reports website Moviehole.com.
