BYRNE STILL DIGGING UP THE PAST

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:07 pm

The Irish star qualified as an archaeologist at university and worked on major digs in Ireland, Wales and Spain before his acting career took off.
Byrne still gets involved in low-key projects and insists archaeology is similar to movie acting.
He explains, "You’re down in a hole with a toothbrush, working with a few other people that you may or may not like, hoping that you’ll discover something, usually in unseasonable weather, that will excite you - and sometimes you do." Byrne reveals he’s fascinated with what he calls "futuristic archaeology".
He adds, "I’m like, ‘What would they make of the world if they started to dig it up in say another 400,000 years and they found things like Coke bottles and keyrings and things?’"

COWELL’S LONDON MANSION BURGLED

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:01 pm

Music mogul SIMON COWELL’s London home was ransacked while the star was away in America.
The American Idol judge is devastated after thieves raided the Holland Park pad, making off with jewellery, silver, and electrical equipment.
Cowell has been branded "unwise" by police after he left his house keys with building constructors who were refurbishing his £6 million ($11.7 million) house.
Local police who investigated the crime say, "It was an unwise decision to say the least. You wouldn’t believe some of the things Mr Cowell had accumulated over the years that the thieves took a fancy to." A source tells British newspaper The Daily Express, "What has happened in similar cases is that someone copied the main key. I’m sure the builders would have been very careful about who had access, but it’s not always easy when a number of sub-contractors are coming in and out of the place.
