CARREY RELIEVED HIS FAME WAS PRE-YOUTUBE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:05 am

JIM CARREY remains eternally grateful he found fame before the invention of video sharing website YouTube.com, because he wouldn’t have been able to compete with some of video capers on the site.
The Canadian funnyman leaped to international fame in 1994 comedy Ace Ventura: Pet Detective - 11 years before Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim created YouTube.
Carrey says, "I used to really want to be famous and now everyone is doing it.
"YouTube is everywhere. There’s a plumber right now who’s mining a fortune from his butt crack I’m sure."
