LOUDON WAINWRIGHT III threatened to kill his son RUFUS over an article in Rolling Stone magazine.
The quirky hitmaker wasn’t impressed when his singer father appeared in the popular magazine and was quick to remind him his recent popularity was only down to his son’s success.
But Louden reacted angrily to the taunts.
He says: "There was no physical…he threatened to kill me, he didn’t try to kill me. But he was serious. I had to leave the house at the time because he was so angry."
