YUN-FAT QUITS WOO MOVIE
Chinese actor CHOW YUN-FAT has been criticised for pulling out of historical epic RED CLIFF after movie bosses reportedly refused his ‘demands’ Yun-Fat was expected to start filming on the big budget movie last week (13Apr07), but the star walked from the set claiming he didn’t have time to learn his scripts.
But Terence Chang, who is co-producing the movie with director John Woo, claims the actor received the script last year and he walked because bosses opposed 73 clauses in Chow’s contract.
He says, "There are too many (clauses we couldn’t accept), and many exceed industry standards. We didn’t mistreat him."
