EVANS SAVES HOME FROM BLAZE
Legendary film producer ROBERT EVANS battled to save his Hollywood home from a fire using a garden hose.
The Chinatown producer feared his house would burn down for a second time following a blaze two years ago (05) after a fire broke out in Beverly Drive and Woodland Avenue, Los Angeles last week (12Apr07).
Friend Nikki Haskell tells PageSix, "The gardener and his assistant and Bob fought off the fire with garden hoses until the fire department made them leave." Evans’ house burned to the ground while director Brett Ratner was staying at the house in 2005.
