ISOKOSKI RECEIVES CLASSICAL HONOUR
Soprano SOILE ISOKOSKI has won two prestigious award for her vocal talent at Britain’s BBC Music Magazine Awards.
The Finnish star won disc of the year and the vocal prize at the London ceremony, where judges described her performance of Sibelius’ Luonnotar with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra as "thrilling".
She says, "I’m so surprised. It’s like a happy coincidence when it comes together so well."
