It would take 128 average Americans to earn what a collective of 29 celebrities earn in a year, according to a new US study.
Parade magazine editors picked 29 random stars, including Meryl Streep, Madonna, David Beckham and Eva Longoria, and then attempted to match their combined annual salaries with selected, regular Americans.
The stars also featured Kiefer Sutherland, Steve Carell, Tyra Banks, Kenny Chesney and Will Smith.
In conclusion, researchers discovered their 29 stars earn as much as 128 regular Americans.
A Parade spokeswoman says, "We’ve found that the rich are getting richer.
There’s a huge disparity between the wages earned by celebs compared to the rest of us.
"The 29 celebrities featured make a total of $2.2 billion."
