JENNIFER LOPEZ has slammed US reports claiming her marriage to third husband MARC ANTHONY is in jeopardy, branding the allegations "disgusting lies".
An article in the new edition of American magazine OK! reports the couple have "called it quits" after a tumultuous few months, in which the "controlling" Anthony has "suffocated" his wife.
Quoting a source close to the pair, the article says, "Marc is very machismo.
(He) won’t let her even do a photo shoot by herself. He is always there watching, waiting." But Lopez denies her marriage is on the rocks and is looking into taking legal action against the publication.
Her representative tells the New York Daily News, "(The article is) a disgusting story full of lies. We’re consulting lawyers." A friend of the couple adds, "They’re inseparable. I don’t get a whiff of trouble." The WAITING FOR TONIGHT star wed the Latino actor/singer in June 2004, and recently (APR07) spoke of Anthony as her "perfect match".
