DMX SKIPS COURT HEARING AGAIN
Rapper DMX failed to appear in court yesterday (10APR07) to face driving charges, the second time he has skipped a court date.
The hip-hop star, real name EARL SIMMONS, was due to face speeding charges at White Plains City Court, New York state.
He also faces charges for making an unsafe lane change and not wearing a seat belt after he was pulled over in his vehicle last summer (02JUN06).
Judge BRIAN HANSBURY handed the rapper a one-day reprieve, but ordered him to appear in court today (11APR07) otherwise a warrant would be issued for his arrest.
Simmons failed to appear in court last summer (06) to answer the charge and an arrest warrant was issued. He was jailed on 28 June last year, but released on $2,500 (£1,300) bail.
