Britain’s Prince William’s conception is to be recreated by performance artists with a ‘live sex performance’.
Actors wearing cardboard boxes emblazoned with the faces of William’s parents - Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana - will get amorous in front of a live audience.
Artist Mark McGowan told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: ‘There is to be no simulation.
‘Diana, I believe, loved every minute of it.’ But admirers of the late princess - who died tragically in a car crash in a Paris tunnel in 1997 - are furious about the planned exhibition and consider it an insult to her memory.
Margaret Funnell, a devoted member of The Diana Circle, said: ‘I sincerely hope he does not harm her memory in any way- she is not here to defend herself. ‘Diana was one of the most beautiful women to walk this planet and if it he distorts her in any way we will be down on him like a ton of bricks.’ The show will be staged at East London’s Guy Hilton Gallery on April 28.
