MICHAEL WANTS SOAP ROLE
Pop star GEORGE MICHAEL is begging TV bosses to offer him a cameo role in British soap operas EASTENDERS and CORONATION STREET.
The former WHAM! singer, 43, devotes hours every week to watching the BBC’s London-set drama Eastenders and rival channel ITV’s northern soap Coronation Street.
He enthuses, "It would be a great place to learn to act. My favourite (Coronation Street) character is BLANCHE HUNT, who is played by MAGGIE JONES.
