JACKSON CONSIDERING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST FAMILY ITEM SALE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:53 pm

Pop star MICHAEL JACKSON is considering taking legal action to stop the sale of over a thousand of his family items at an auction in Las Vegas next month (MAY07).
The Jacksons Auction is scheduled for 30-31 May (07) at the Hard Rock hotel resort, and items include Michael’s gold record for his THRILLER album, handwritten lyrics for THE JACKSON FIVE hit ABC and a Victory Tour program signed by Jackson family members.
The auction house Guernsey’s founder and president, ARLAN ETTINGER, says, "It certainly is in that sphere of landmark, high-profile, extraordinary auctions." However, Jackson’s spokeswoman says, "Mr. Jackson was not aware and he is extremely upset that his memorabilia was included amongst the memorabilia that is being auctioned off."
