DRUG CONVICTION FORCES THE VIEW TO CANCEL US TOUR
Scottish rockers THE VIEW have been forced to cancel their forthcoming US tour, because of frontman KYLE FALCONER’s drug conviction.
The band were recently reported to have secured visas for the US, despite Falconer’s conviction for possession of cocaine last month (MAR07).
But it has emerged The View have failed to secure clearance to perform the already rescheduled tour, due to start in Cambridge, Massachusetts on 30 April (07).
A statement reveals: "Due to continuing visa and immigration issues, Scotland’s The View has cancelled its American tour."
