OSBOURNE: ‘STOLEN JEWELLERY WAS LIKE A BEREAVEMENT’
Reality TV star SHARON OSBOURNE compared the loss of her family jewellery three years ago (04) to that of a member of a family dying.
A burglar broke into her Buckinghamshire, England mansion that she shares with rock star husband OZZY OSBOURNE and stole items including Sharon’s diamond wedding bands, a 24-carat sapphire ring, and expensive watches.
And the loss proved too much for Sharon.
She told psychiatrist DR PAMELA STEPHENSON on UK TV show SHRINK RAP, "When my ring, my jewellery was stolen. It was like a bereavement.
"And when I would think about it, I would literally get a pain in my chest.
It took me so long before I went ‘this is insane, it’s only money and objects.’"
