Halle Berry wept as she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress was given the 2,333rd star in a ceremony outside Hollywood’s Kodak Theatre yesterday (03.04.07).
Halle said: ‘I am so emotional. As soon as I saw the crowds of people and friends here, I started to cry.’ The 40-year-old Cleveland-born actress won the Best Actress Oscar in 2001 for her role in ‘Monsters Ball’ alongside Billy Bob Thornton.
She received an Emmy and a Golden Globe for her leading role in TV movie ‘Introducing Dorothy Dandridge’.
Halle also won a Golden Raspberry Award for her lead role in box office flop ‘Catwoman’ and famously turned up to collect it in good humour.
Her latest movie, ‘Perfect Stranger’ with Bruce Willis opens on April 13 in the US.
