JAZZ MUSICIAN SCOTT DIES
Jazz clarinet player TONY SCOTT has died aged 85.
The eccentric musician, who passed away on 28 March (07), shot to fame in the 1940s as one of the first bebop clarinet players.
He performed with jazz legends DUKE ELLINGTON, TOMMY DORSEY and BUDDY RICH.
The musician suffered from prostate cancer in his later years. He died in Rome, Italy, where he lived.
