British chart-toppers GIRLS ALOUD have signed a staggering $2.4 million (£1.25 million) deal to be spokesmodels for shampoo firm Sunsilk.
Each of the five-piece will pick up $475,000 (£250,000) from the contract, which will also involve Sunsilk sponsoring Girls Aloud’s forthcoming tour.
A spokesperson for the company says, "This is the first time we’ve done anything on this scale. We’re very pleased to be working with Girls Aloud."
