Movie star KIRSTEN DUNST has introduced her mother to the sights of London - by taking her out drinking.
The Spider-Man 3 actress has been spending lots of time in the British capital with new boyfriend Johnny Borrell, since the pair began dating last month (Mar07).
And now Dunst has shared her appreciation of the city’s 300-year-old pub in Covent Garden with her beloved mother, Inez.
She says, "I took my mum to the Lamb & Flag (in Covent Garden). It’s one of the oldest pubs."

Rockers NOEL GALLAGHER, OZZY OSBOURNE and ROD STEWART will be among 30 musicians designing their own guitars to raise money for charity.
The stars will team up with different artists to have their designs hand painted onto the instruments, which will go on display in various locations around London throughout the summer (07).
They will then be auctioned off in support of the Gibson Guitartown campaign, with all proceeds raised going towards The Prince’s Trust, Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and Teenage Cancer Trust.
James Blunt, who will also be taking part in the campaign, says, "I am really pleased to be associated with this amazing project which aims to raise lots of money for three fantastic and worthy charities." Other musicians getting involved in the charity work include Paul Weller, James Morrison, The Kooks, Razorlight and Dirty Pretty Things.

Scottish rockers TRAVIS chose movie star BEN STILLER to appear in the video for their new single Closer, because no-one else was "uptight" enough to play the role.
The group needed someone to play a stressed and uptight supermarket manager for their latest video, and couldn’t think of anyone else who could do a better job.
Bassist Douglas Payne says, "(Stiller) is a lovely friend, and when we got the treatment for the video there was this part for an uptight wound-up guy. "We just thought, ‘Who do we know that is uptight and wound-up?’ So Fran (lead singer) emailed Ben and sure enough he had the day off and it was great, we all went off to LA and started shooting."

LATEST: SANDRA BULLOCK and JESSE JAMES are "doing fine" after an obsessed fan tried to run over the actress’ husband earlier this month (22Apr07), because the couple are now able to laugh about the incident.
In a police report obtained by TMZ.com, authorities in Orange County claim James had to dodge Marcia Valentine’s Mercedes as she "attempted three or four times" to hit the TV motor mechanic outside their home in California on 22 April (07).
Luckily neither Bullock nor her husband were hurt in the attack, and the pair can now look back on the incident with a sense of humour, according to close friend George Lopez, whose TV comedy The George Lopez Show is produced by Bullock.
He says, "They always do (have a sense of humour). It surprised me. It’s unfortunate that with celebrity comes that kind of thing, and it’s unfortunate that you really can’t do anything until somebody does something like this." Lopez’ wife Ann adds, "We had dinner with them the night after it happened and they were both fine, and they were both talking about it. I guess this person had been harassing them for some time and actually her going that far was a good thing, because they weren’t able to put her away before - you know, the way the laws are, until you (can) actually do something, sometimes that’s too late." Valentine allegedly drove off before authorities arrived on the scene, but was taken into custody the following day (23Apr07) on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.

KYLIE MINOGUE’s ex-boyfriend OLIVIER MARTINEZ reportedly lost his temper and hit out at paparazzi on Friday (27Apr07), after he was spotted on a date with new lover Goya Toledo in Los Angeles.
The French actor, who split with the Spinning Around singer in January (07), was laughing and joking with Spanish Toledo over lunch, when he noticed they had been photographed by waiting paparazzi.
A witness says, "The pair were having an intimate outdoor lunch date, holding hands and laughing and joking.
"But when Olivier realised he had been seen, he lost his temper and gave the photographers a piece of his mind before spitting on their car. Everyone was really shocked."

British reality TV producer MARK BURNETT married actress ROMA DOWNEY in Los Angeles at the weekend (28Apr07).
Burnett, who produces TV show The Apprentice, wed the Touched by an Angel star at their Malibu home on Saturday. According to People magazine, the ceremony was officiated by Downey’s co-star, Della Reese.
The couple had been neighbours for several years before they started dating in 2004. The marriage is Downey’s third and Burnett’s second.

Newly-married Bollywood star AISHWARYA RAI has been ordered to appear in an Indian court next month (May07), after a kiss with co-star Hrithik Roshan in movie Dhoom-II was deemed "obscene".
Rai - who wed actor Abhishek Bachchan in a modest ceremony at the Bachchan family home in Mumbai, India, earlier this month (20Apr07) - is accused by a local lawyer of "offending public sensibility" in the scene where she is kissed lightly on the cheek.
Public displays of affection are taboo in India where under the country’s law, a conviction of public obscenity means a potential three months behind bars or a fine.
Roshan, along with the owners of the cinema which screened the action film, has also been summoned to court in Muzaffarpur in the eastern state of Bihar, on 30 May (07).
A court official says, "The court also sent notices to the Bihar government for allowing screening of the film despite its ‘obscene’ content." The new row over obscenity comes just days after a similar case was brought against Hollywood star Richard Gere and Shilpa Shetty, after the Pretty Woman actor swept the beauty into his arms and kissed her several times at an HIV/AIDS awareness event in New Delhi on 15 April (07).

Superstar BARBRA STREISAND has defended her decision to charge fans up to £500 ($1000) a ticket to see her perform for the first time in 13 years this summer (Jun07), because she believes she is as big as Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra.
The Woman In Love star will be appearing on stage in the UK as part of her 2007 European tour, and claims the ticket prices are justified because part of the proceeds will go to her charity, the Barbra Streisand Foundation.
Her spokesperson says, "Seeing Barbra Streisand in concert is a pretty momentous occasion that ranks up there with seeing Sinatra or Elvis."

Producer STAN ROSS is "very concerned" about the health of PHIL SPECTOR, because he doesn’t think the music producer will live to see the three-month trial through till the end.
Spector has been accused of the fatal shooting of actress Lara Clarkson, who was found slumped in the foyer of his LA home in February 2003. He has pleaded not guilty and claims Clarkson committed suicide.
But Ross, the co-founder of Hollywood’s Gold Star Recording Studios, has known Spector for 50 years and is worried he won’t be able to handle the lengthy trial.
He says, "He looks terrible. I am very concerned about his appearance. He is shaking a lot. He may be a very sick man. I don’t like seeing him in this predicament. I don’t think he can handle three months."

An after party for G-UNIT rapper YOUNG BUCK ended in chaos on Saturday (28Apr07), after one man was shot at the event in Kennewick, Washington.
Over 50 people are reported to have turned up for the party at the Hilton Garden Inn following a concert headlined by the rapper - real name David Brown - at nearby venue Club Paradise.
Reports claim a fight broke out between Buck’s entourage and rival rappers which led to the shoot-out, resulting in one man receiving bullet wounds to his legs and shots piercing windows and vehicles parked close by, according to AllHipHop.com.
People involved in the incident attempted to flee the scene in a white limousine and an SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle), but were later stopped by authorities, where one of the drivers was found to be in possession of a gun.
Other passengers are alleged to have thrown weapons from the vehicles as they tried to escape.
Nine men from Seattle are being charged with failing to report a crime and will also face charges of other various weapons violations.
Police have yet to confirm whether Young Buck was also arrested in connection with the shooting.

American rockers SAOSIN have apologised to fans in the UK for cancelling their show in Birmingham last night (29Apr07), after frontman COVE REBER was rushed to hospital with severe stomach pains on Saturday night (28Apr07).
Reber complained of feeling ill before the group played at the Give It A Name show at London’s Earls Court on Saturday, and was taken to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital after vomiting offstage following their performance.
The 21-year-old was released yesterday afternoon (29Apr07) but was forced to miss the band’s headlining gig in Birmingham after doctors ordered him to rest.
Saosin said they "hope (fans) understand that it was impossible to perform under the circumstances".
But they assured fans their gig in Glasgow, Scotland, tonight (30Apr07) will go ahead as planned, as well as shows in Manchester, Leeds and London later this week (02-04May07).

The 22-year-old prince, who is due to leave for Iraq, said he is willing to risk his life to serve his country.
Harry, who delivered the speech to close friends at London’s Mahiki club on Friday (27.04.07), said: ‘I’m s**ting myself. I’m prepared to do anything they throw at me. I’m going to miss my family. But I am proud to serve my country, which is a great honour.’ Harry arrived at the exclusive club with girlfriend Chelsy Davy, who was wearing a short red dress. Harry’s friend Guy Pelly - Mahiki’s general manager - greeted the couple and showed them around the privately booked venue. Prince William was also present, but arrived after his brother’s emotional goodbye speech.
In a clear reference to the debate surrounding whether Harry should be allowed to fight on the front line, the prince insisted he would be happy to do whatever is asked of him during his six-month deployment.
He is quoted in Britain’s News of the World newspaper as saying: ‘Whether I serve on the front line or carry out a desk job in Basra I just want to get out to Iraq and serve my country. I’m proud of the men I’ve trained with but I have to respect they need to be safe. They haven’t decided what exactly I’m going to do out there yet.’ Head of the British Army, General Sir Richard Dannatt, will make a decision on Harry’s exact role in the next couple of days.
Harry and Chelsy spent most of the night dancing, before leaving at 12.50am, while William, 24, continued partying until 3.35am.
Harry has reportedly prepared for the worst by writing a will for his £13 million fortune.

Jim Frecklington, who lives in Sydney, has spent years and re-mortgaged his home to build the new State Coach Britannia.
The carriage - which cost an estimated £620,000 to build with some of the costs being covered by the Australian government - will be flown into Britain and given as a gift to the queen.
The project was approved by Buckingham Palace and was overseen Prince Philip - who is said to be a renowned carriage driver.
Frecklington has travelled the world for the finest materials and the few remaining craftsmen and women with the specialist skills and knowledge to build a traditional state coach. Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper reports that the carriage weighs 2.75 tons and is more than 20ft long and 11ft wide. The two door handles are individually decorated with 24 diamonds and 130 sapphires.
In 1986, Frecklington designed and built the Australian State Coach, which was a gift from Australia to Britain and is regularly used by the queen for the State Opening of British Parliament.
