Renowned British author SALMAN RUSHDIE’s marriage to PADMA LAKSHMI is reportedly on the rocks, amidst rumours the sexy actress wants to focus on her TV career.
Rushdie, 59, married Indian Lakshmi, 36 - his fourth wife - three years ago (04) and has repeatedly rejected accusations he’s with the TOP CHEF host for her looks.
The New York Observer reported the couple’s close friend, designer DIANE VON FURSTENBERG, as saying, "I can’t believe she’s leaving him." Von Furstenberg’s publicist has refrained from confirming the quote.
