Pink parking
Swiss traffic officials are trying to stop men using women’s parking spaces by painting them pink.
Bern council are tired of hearing complaints about men taking spaces reserved for women, and have decided pink paint and floral designs could solve the problem.
Bjorn Rohrbach, managing director of a car park in Bern, said: "Legally, we can’t stop men from using women’s parking spaces. And telling them off didn’t work either." Bjorn insists male drivers will be too embarrassed to use pink parking spaces.
