FLEMING REVOLVER SELLS AT AUCTION

A revolver that once belonged to JAMES BOND author IAN FLEMING sold at auction yesterday (28MAR07) for £12,000 ($23,400).
The Colt Python .357 was given to Fleming shortly before his death in 1964 as a thanks for mentioning the Colt .45 Peacemaker in his THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN book.
The firearm was sold at Bonham’s auction house in London.
