URBAN HAILS MARRIAGE AS LIFE ACHIEVEMENT
Reformed country singer KEITH URBAN credits his 2006 marriage to NICOLE KIDMAN as "the best thing I have ever done".
The Australian stars wed in Sydney last June (06) after a whirlwind 11 month romance. However, just four months after the ceremony, Urban checked into rehab for unspecified substance abuse problems.
He says, "As far as being a married man, it is the best thing I have ever done.
"And it is not just about being married; to me, it is about being married to her, to that woman because she has just saved my life - absolutely saved it.
"Everything happens for a reason so the timing of that (rehab) was divinely inspired."
