CLINTON LOVES 24
Former US President BILL CLINTON is a huge fan of KEIFER SUTHERLAND’s 24 show, praising the programme makers for showing Republican and Democrats in the same light.
Clinton, who led the Democratic party for eight years, admits he watches a lot more television since his presidency ended in 2001.
Speaking at a TV advertising event last week (30MAR07), Clinton said he liked 24 for "trying to be fair" to both political parties, "even though an uber right-wing guy writes it," referring to Republican JOEL SURNOW, who writes and produces the drama.
Clinton also loves the WILLIAM SHATNER-starring legal comedy BOSTON LEGAL, declaring, "It’s something to behold."
