HARRIS: ‘BLOC PARTY ARE RUBBISH’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 6:41 pm

Pop newcomer CALVIN HARRIS has slammed British rockers BLOC PARTY for being "rubbish" and "boring the s**t out" of fans.
Harris - who is working on KYLIE MINOGUE’s forthcoming album - is disillusioned with the current state of the music industry and is fed up with artists taking themselves too seriously.
He says, "A lot of these people think they’re changing the world with their music, but actually they’re just boring the s**t out of everyone.
"Like Bloc Party - they are rubbish. They make very tedious music. What kind of person is going to make all this music and not make one single tune? What’s the point?" But Harris has kinder words for his Australian pop collaborator Minogue.
He adds, "She is so nice, the most down to earth superstar you could ever hope to meet - she made the tea in the studio."

Leonardo DiCaprio was tormented by dreams of chocolate while dieting.

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:41 pm

The actor, who lost a stone to prepare for his role in ‘Blood Diamond’, admits he fantasised about calorific treats during the five-month gruelling training regime.
Leonardo said: "The daily routine was daydreaming about being in Paris eating pain au chocolat. It took me away from the impact of being in Africa and preparing for my role.
"Being away from home for five months took its toll. I did a lot of fitness and military training with ex-mercenaries, which got me extremely fit. There was no messing around. They’re a pretty hardcore bunch of alpha males. My body changed a lot." Leonardo, 32, says filming in Mozambique helped him to reassess his lifestyle choices and made him less tolerant of self-obsessed celebrities.
He explained: "I feel more level-headed these days. I loathe being around people who are self-consumed. I find it so boring."
