The 57-year-old actor is determined to star in as many films as he can before he is past it and his good looks fade.
He said: ‘I’m 57 now and I don’t know how much time is left before I become old and ugly. So I am making the most of what I have while I can.’ Gere has four films due out in 2007, including ‘The Flock’ – in which her stars with rocker Avril Lavigne - and Bob Dylan biopic ‘I’m Not There’, which also stars Cate Blanchett and Christian Bale. ‘The Hoax’, is out in April. Richard - who was married to catwalk beauty Cindy Crawford for four years and been romantically linked to Uma Thurman, Kim Basinger and Laura Bailey - is now married to Bond girl Carey Lowell.
