SMITH: ‘ACTORS ARE TOO HUNGRY FOR FAME’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 7:00 pm

Veteran British actress DAME MAGGIE SMITH has slammed contemporary thespians for being "too fame hungry".
The HARRY POTTER star laments today’s stars, who are prepared to strip off in a bid to further their career, insisting there is "no mystery" left in the acting profession.
The 72-year-old says, "When I started acting, it wasn’t about fame. It was about acting.
"What is required of actors today is beyond credence - it seems to be vital that you tell the world everything about your private life and remove every single garment you possess while you are about it.
"There is absolutely no mystery any more."
