The MATERIAL GIRL - who settled in England after marrying film director GUY RITCHIE in 2000 - has recently being spotted viewing luxurious mansions in Manhattan.
Sources claim Madonna wants a home relatively near her dad TONY CICCONE as he battles cancer in Leelanau County Hospital in Michigan.
An insider tells British newspaper The Sun, "Madonna, Guy and the kids are definitely moving to New York this year (07).
"The deal is to spend as much time there as in London - if not more."

ANGELINA JOLIE was not given preferential treatment for her adoption of three-year-old Vietnamese boy PAX THIEN, the agency who handled it has vowed.
Jolie and partner BRAD PITT began proceedings in Vietnam last summer (06), US-based agency Adoptions From The Heart has revealed.
The average adoption in Vietnam takes sixth months or longer to go through.
A statement from the agency’s Vietnam coordinator HEIDI GONZALEZ reads: "Throughout Ms Jolie’s adoption process, she received no preferential treatment from the Vietnamese government or Adoptions From The Heart." Gonzalez also hit out at claims by Vietnam’s senior adoption official VU DOC LONG that the adoption was fast-tracked because of Jolie’s celebrity status.
She says, "Contrary to earlier reports, her application was not fast-tracked." And Gonzalez insists Jolie has made no financial commitment to the Ho Chi Minh orphanage Pax was adopted from: "She has neither made, nor promised to make any financial contributions." Jolie’s adoption of Pax will become final once US officials in Hanoi approve paperwork to allow him to travel to America

Actor-turned-novelist HUGH GRANT plans to submit his first book under an anonymous name, so it isn’t judge purely on his celebrity.
The NOTTING HILL star is currently working on his first literary effort - a "dark" and "disturbing" novel.
Grant confesses it’s far from being finished, but he is already concerned his fame will taint the judgement of publishing companies.
He says, "When I’ve finished it, I’ll send it to an editor, anonymously, in order for it to be judged objectively. Because we all know about editors don’t we? "I could copy out the Yellow Pages and they would still publish it simply because I’m a celebrity.
"This way at least, my manuscript could be turned down by some 21-year-old publisher and I would walk away totally humiliated."

SANDRA BULLOCK wants a cameo role on cosmetic surgery TV drama NIP/TUCK, so she can get free breast implants.
The actress became hooked on the show while co-starring with Nip/Tuck actor JULIAN McMAHON in movie PREMONITION.
And she’s begging McMahon to help her land a guest spot.
Bullock, 42, says, "I love Nip/Tick. I’ve told Julian I’d like to be a guest on the last ever one and have a complete overhaul starting with these (my breasts). It’d be fun."

BLACK EYED PEAS singer FERGIE is convinced British pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS will return "stronger" than ever following his recent stint in rehab.

ELIZABETH HURLEY’s doctor brother MICHAEL has given her and new husband ARUN NAYAR two rare breed cows as a wedding present.
Dr Michael Hurley bought the chocolate brown Gloucester cows - called Geraldine and Amber - from breeder MARION CONISBEE-SMITH, to live on the model/actress’ English farm.
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Telegraph, "Michael couldn’t think of what to give her and in light of her comments earlier this month, indicating that she was keen to go into farming at her home in Ampney Knowle, near Cirencester, he thought he’d give her a pair of Gloucester cattle.
"The cows are actually from a threatened breed that usually provides the milk for single Double Gloucester cheese, so it’s rather a nice thing for him to have done."

Action man STEVEN SEAGAL is unimpressed by actors-turned-musicians, insisting JEFF GOLDBLUM is the only screen star who can pull off the transition.
The actor/musician, 55, started his own music career as the tender age of five when he learned to play guitar and is currently touring the UK with his blues band THUNDERBOX.
Seagal has watched actors such as JULIETTE LEWIS, BRUCE WILLIS and JARED LETO cross over to music with varying degrees of success, but is not convinced they have got what is takes.
He says, "I don’t consider any actors to be real musicians… I’m probably going to get in trouble after saying that.
"I think Jeff Goldblum is the only good musician. He’s a good pianist." Seagal’s UK tour ends in London on Sunday night (18MAR07).

MICHELLE PFEIFFER is planning to undergo cosmetic surgery, but only when she can’t stand the sight of herself in the mirror.
The 48-year-old actress is convinced she is still winning the war with ageing, but won’t hesitate to go under the knife when she’s ready.
She says, "I don’t have anything against it and I think there is a lot of real pressure on ageing women these days. If I look in the mirror one day and I can’t stand it any more… then I might be there.
"Just recently a woman made my day by commenting on my boobs. She said I made her feel sexy about her small breasts and that made me feel really good. I walked away thinking, ‘Wow, I’m hot.’"

LATEST: Actor/musician STEVEN SEAGAL is still considering a long-awaited return to the UNDER SIEGE movies, as long the original film crew are reunited.
After playing action hero CASEY RYBACK in the original 1992 action movie and its 1995 follow-up UNDER SIEGE 2: DARK TERRITORY, Seagal is keen to revisit the franchise.
Recent reports suggested Seagal has turned down the chance to star in the third movie because he didn’t like the script; however Seagal admits he is still considering a sequel.
He says, "If everyone else (from the Under Siege movies) gets together, then I’d be interested. If a deal can be struck, then yes."

British funnyman ROWAN ATKINSON is planning to star in a comedy sketch about the world’s most-wanted man, OSAMA BIN LADEN.
The MR. BEAN star finds the idea of the highly educated terrorist living in caves while on the run, hilarious.
He says, "There’s something peculiarly comic about anyone hiding in the way he is, with the whole world looking for him. Where is he? What’s he doing? What did he have for breakfast? "I met someone who knew him when he lived in London years ago. He used to meet him at dinner parties across the table. There’s something very funny about the idea of Bin Laden at a dinner party in Kensington.
"The angle I would take wouldn’t necessarily be dismissive of his faith. It would just be about the predicament of the individual."

A man who reportedly confronted HARRY POTTER star EMMA WATSON at her British school has been questioned by police.
The 16-year-old now has a private bodyguard after the man, in this 20s, entered some of the lectures Watson attends at the school, which cannot be named for legal reasons.
He is said to have sat next to Watson, who plays HERMIONE GRANGER in the Harry Potter movies, during a lecture and started to talk to her about the fantasy franchise.
Police were called and they warned the man not to approach Watson, who is studying for her A-levels.
An insider says, "The man was an admirer who was over-zealous. He found out there were some open lectures and attended them.
"He left Emma alarmed when he talked about Potter films."

Former THE DARKNESS rocker JUSTIN HAWKINS has barely spoken to his brother DAN since quitting the band last year (06).

SHARON OSBOURNE has dubbed SIMON COWELL a "coward" for sacking LOUIS WALSH from British talent show THE X FACTOR, and then blaming the decision on show producers.
Walsh sat on the judging panel with Osbourne and Cowell - whose company makes the show - until he and host KATE THORNTON were axed earlier this month (MAR07).
Cowell claims he fought to save their jobs, but that producers overruled him.
But Osbourne insists Cowell is responsible - and should have owned up to Walsh and Thornton.
She says, "After knowing Louis for over 20 years, Simon should have had the guts to tell him to his face that he was going to get fired.
"I was completely shocked. It was a harsh and unfair thing to do. The very least he could have done is to have told Louis and Kate rather than pretend it was all down to the producers."

Pop superstar TINA TURNER is to perform a one-off charity gig in May (07), seven years after she retired from the music industry.
The SIMPLY THE BEST singer is staging her comeback at a fundraiser for London charity Cauldwell Children on 18 May at the city’s Natural History Museum.
The 67-year-old is expected to perform a selection of her greatest hits.
She says, "I am delighted to be associated with a charity which reaches out to so many young people.

The former JAMES BOND star so enjoyed making post-American Civil War period movie SERAPHIM FALLS with countryman LIAM NEESON he wants to go further back into US history to visit the Wild West - and he hopes to take a few pals with him.
The Irish actor says, "It’s always in the cards. There’s a bunch of us Irish fellows who keep saying we should get together and make a western - myself, GABRIEL BYRNE, COLM MEANEY and people like that.
"We’d just like to do an Irish film about the West. I was getting serious about that when, and lo and behold, the script for Seraphim Falls came to me with Liam attached.
"That film just whet my appetite further because it’s a western-themed movie.
"I was brought up on the kind of staple of the westerns. I just thought it all had an elegance to it."
