Mischa Barton has branded Paris Hilton a ‘fake celebrity’.
The actress rubbished claims that she is friends with the hotel heiress, insisting they socialise in different circles. Mischa is quoted by Britain’s Daily Record newspaper as saying: ‘Paris and I are not in the same crowd, I don’t know her. It’s strange to me to see the way all the young actresses are lumped together. It’s true that I am friends with Nicole Richie but that’s it. ‘I think there’s a difference between people who are famous because of the work they do and fake celebrities.’ Mischa, 21, is a regular on the Los Angeles party circuit. Last week, she was spotted partying with Kirsten Dunst in New York and vomited in the street. She previously dated Brandon Davis, who Paris was romantically linked to last year.
Mischa recently split from lover Cisco Adler. It was reported Cisco dumped 21-year-old Mischa because of her ‘mood swings’.
