Hamster Hoover
A hamster that became stuck in a kitchen pipe was rescued using a vacuum cleaner in Britain.
Henry the hamster got lodged in a 10cm wide and 1.2m long pipe at his owner’ s house in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
After unsuccessful attempts by the RSPCA to rescue him, the council failed to tempt Henry out using a series of hamster ladders and Curly Wurly chocolate bars.
Finally, Henry was rescued using a narrow attachment from a vacuum cleaner.
Henry’s young owner was so terrified of his pet that the council decided to find him a new home.
A council spokesman said: "Henry is now safe and sound and has been given a good home by the council’s customer services manager who has adopted him for her son."
