The rock superstar and close friend Taylor-Wood hosted a star-studded bash at Shoreditch Town Hall in east London for their celebrity friends, with guests including SIR PAUL McCARTNEY, and actors HUGH GRANT and THANDIE NEWTON.

BEYONCE KNOWLES’ younger sister SOLANGE has slammed reports she has started dating rapper LIL’ WAYNE following the alleged collapse of her marriage.
Recent internet rumours claimed the singer/actress, 20, had ended her three-year marriage to American football player DANIEL SMITH, father of her two-and-a-half year-old son DANIEL JULEZ.
Solange’s marriage to Smith caused controversy in February 2004 because she was three months pregnant and 17-years-old at the time.
When discussing her Valentine’s Day last month (14FEB07), Solange fuelled rumours she had split from Smith by declaring, "I’ll be with my son. He’s my valentine this year." When asked if Solange was divorcing Smith, her representative tells the New York Daily News, "We don’t comment on our clients’ personal lives," adding rumours linking her to Lil’ Wayne were "completely unfounded".

PRISON BREAK star WENTWORTH MILLER is a hit behind bars - because signed photos of the hunk can be used as prized trade offs.
The 34-year-old admits he receives a lot of fanmail from real-life criminals, who hope Miller will reply with an autographed picture they can swap in jail for restricted goods.

Actor DON JOHNSON still regrets some of the movie scripts he turned down during his 1980s heyday - including the leading role in THE UNTOUCHABLES which made KEVIN COSTNER a superstar.
Johnson has never become as successful on the big screen as he was in TV smash MIAMI VICE, and he attributes this to some poor decisions he made.
The 57-year-old tells London radio station Heart FM, "I did turn down a couple of films and my friends ended up doing them but I never told them that I’d turned them down.
"I said no to playing ELLIOT NESS in The Untouchables so Kevin Costner did it." However, Johnson doesn’t regret all his choices.
He adds, "There was a thing in drag that I turned down once. I just couldn’t fit in that blue mini-skirt.
"I also turned down the reality TV show in the US called DANCING WITH THE STARS. Pretty much everyone’s doing that show but I have no regrets over saying no to that."

American funnyman BOBCAT GOLDTHWAIT would love to take part in a POLICE ACADEMY reunion film, because he doesn’t want to be known as the "asshole" who fails to turn up.
The comedian - born ROBERT FRANCIS GOLDTHWAIT - was previously against the idea of meeting up with his former castmates, but has since had a change of heart.
He tells London’s Time Out magazine, "In the past I always said I wouldn’t, but the reality of it is that now I would, because I hate it when you see reunion movies or reunion TV shows and someone doesn’t show up. I’ll go, ‘Wow, MARSHA BRADY (of THE BRADY BUNCH) is an asshole - she didn’t come back.’ "Hell, even when they do a HAPPY DAYS reunion, RON HOWARD still shows up. Filmmakers QUENTIN TARANTINO and ROBERT RODRIGUEZ will be honoured with the Directors of the Year title at annual ShoWest film industry convention in Las Vegas tomorrow (15MAR07) night.

Bulgaria’s PRINCESS KALINA gave birth to her first child in a Sofia hospital this morning (14MAR07).
The royal family’s spokesman GALYA DICHEVA confirmed, "This morning at 7am Princess Kalina gave birth by Caesarean section to a baby boy." The unnamed tot is the first child for the princess and her husband of five years, ANTONIO ‘KITIN’ MUNOZ VALCARCEL.

LATEST: Celebrity fashion designer ANAND JON ALEXANDER was yesterday (13MAR07) charged with six counts of rape and sexual assault in relation to several incidents dating back to 2004.
The 33-year-old - who has appeared several times on US reality TV show AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL - was charged by authorities in Los Angeles for the alleged attacks on two women and a 15-year-old girl between October 2004 and March 2007. These include two counts of forcible rape and two charges of committing a lewd act upon a child.
The Indian-born designer was arrested at his home in Beverly Hills, California on 6 March (07), after a woman accused him of rape. Alexander denies the allegations.
His lawyer RONALD RICHARDS says, "When you have people desperate to be in fashion, they get upset when you don’t place them where they want to be.
"When you deal with a large amount of women, you’re going to have potential false allegations made against you." Alexander is currently being detained on $1.3 million (£670,000) bail and is due in court on 19 March (07) for a hearing.

Animal-loving actress PAMELA ANDERSON has sent fashion designer pal TOMMY HILFIGER a bouquet of flowers after learning he had banned fur from his collections.
Anderson, 39, introduced Hilfiger to DAN MATHEWS, vice-president of People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA), at her August (06) wedding to KID ROCK in St Tropez in the south of France.
After Mathews brought Hilfiger’s attention to the cruel methods used in fur farms, the American designer decided to withdraw animal skins from his forthcoming line.
Anderson enthuses, "Since Tommy mostly used fur on collars and cuffs, his decision to go fur-free really puts the spotlight on fur trim, which is one of my biggest pet peeves.
"People who think ‘it’s just a little fur trim’ need to know that animals suffer tremendously for every piece of fur, and it’s unacceptable to wear any of it. Thanks, Tommy, for sticking up for the animals." Mathews adds, "Tommy’s anti-fur policy will spare countless animals from becoming fashion victims."

British actor GARETH HUNT has died of pancreatic cancer at his home in Redhill, southern England. He was 65.
Hunt is best known for playing MIKE GAMBIT in 1970s TV show THE NEW AVENGERS alongside PATRICK McNEE and JOANNA LUMLEY.
He also starred in UK television shows DOCTOR WHO, UPSTAIRS DOWNSTAIRS and EASTENDERS.
In a statement, Hunt’s agent says, "He fought the disease with great courage and through his strength of character and his wonderful sense of humour he continued to work right up until the end of 2006." Hunt is survived by his wife AMANDA and three sons.

ROGUE TRADERS frontwoman NATALIE BASSINGTHWAIGHTE has taken time out of the band to make a brief return to her old job in Australian soap opera NEIGHBOURS.
Bassingthwaighte left her role as soap bitch ISABELLE ‘IZZY’ HOYLAND early last year (06) to focus on the VOODOO CHILD hitmakers.
However, when Neighbours producers asked her to return for two weeks as part of a juicy storyline involving her character’s ex-fiance, Bassingthwaighte obliged.
The special episode takes the action from the fictional Erinsborough to London and includes celebrity cameos from former SPICE GIRL EMMA BUNTON, chat show host MICHAEL PARKINSON, eighties singer SINITTA and gay comedian JULIAN CLARY.
Bassingthwaighte enthuses, "I thought, ‘Am I going to remember how to play Izzy..?’ But it felt quite easy. And I had two of the best actors to work with opposite me. It was a blast.
"Emma Bunton was sweet as pie and she was tiny. Julian was very quiet."

FALL OUT BOY singer PATRICK STUMP missed out on the chance to record with rap mogul JAY-Z - because he was too nervous.
The DANCE, DANCE hitmaker was invited to the studio last year (06) to work on the hip-hop star’s comeback album KINGDOM COME, but Stump confessed he was so starstruck, he "f**ked up".

NEVER FORGET - penned by TV writer DANNY BROCKLEHURST - will centre on a fictional Take That tribute act, and will feature chart hits RELIGHT MY FIRE, BACK FOR GOOD and title track Never Forget.
But the pop foursome have distanced themselves from the project, releasing a statement to reinforce their stance against the musical.
It says, "The band would like to state categorically that this production is being undertaken with neither their involvement nor their endorsement.
"They would wish their fans and the general public to know that this production is absolutely and 100 per cent nothing to do with Take That."

Britain’s Channel Five will trace the final six weeks of Diana’s life in a £2 million docu-drama, entitled ‘Diana: Last Days Of A Princess’.
The programme - to be aired in September - will be a mixture drama, interviews and of archive footage of the fateful night in August 1997 when Diana and her lover Dodi Al Fayed were killed in a Paris car crash.
Five’s senior programme controller Chris Shaw compared Diana’s death to the assassination of US President John F Kennedy in 1963.
He told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: ‘We wanted to mark the 10th anniversary by remembering the Diana legacy with a straightforward look at that final day.
‘For most people in the UK, it’s out JFK day - everyone remembers where they were and what there were doing when they heard that she had died.’ ITV Factual is working on a programme for Britain’s Channel 4 that will focus on the role of the paparazzi, who pursued Diana’s car into the Alma tunnel.
While the BBC will explore the outpouring of grief that followed Diana’s death in a 90-minute film entitled ‘The Week Diana Died’.
French firm Artline Films is producing ‘Diana and the Ghosts of the Alma Tunnel’ for public broadcaster France 3.
Producer Benjamin Landsberger said: ‘The program will take the official version and pull it apart.’ The Diana programming will begin on July 1 when the ‘Concert for Diana’ is broadcast live on BBC One and Radio 2.
The commemorative show, organised by Diana’s sons Princes William and Harry, will take place at London’s Wembley Stadium.

William arrived at the prestigious horseracing event in his black Audi saloon car with brunette Kate and his cousin Zara Phillips.
The royal group were guests of multi-millionaire Trevor Hemmings, who owns Blackpool Tower and a collection of racehorses.
William is thought to have lost £62.50 and Kate was £45 down at the end of the day.
But William was delighted when one of Mr Hemmings’ horses, Juveigneur, came second in the 4pm race.
A source told Britain’s Daily Express newspaper: ‘William was going crazy, jumping up and down and waving his arms about.
‘It was one of his few bits of good luck all day, although he had another horse that came in second, Granit Jack, in the first race of the day.’ William bet £10 each way on all six races. He won £30 on the first race and £27.50 on Juveigneur but lost £20 on every other race.
Kate bet £5 each way on all six races but only won on Granit Jack.
Both the prince and fashion buyer Kate were dressed for a day at the races in tweed.
William, who enjoyed a skiing holiday in Switzerland with Kate last week, is on Army leave before he begins specialist training as an armoured reconnaissance troop leader at Bovington camp in Dorset later this month.

The 29-year-old princess greeted royal fans waving Swedish flags, who had congregated in the courtyard of Stockholm’s Royal Palace for the occasion on Monday (12.03.07).
The princess was smitten with one fan, a golden Labrador wearing a jacket printed in the colours of the Swedish flag.
Victoria crouched down to talk to the dog and petted him.
The princess was presented with a Swedish flag and several bouquets of flowers, including a bunch of long-stemmed pale pink roses and a posy of freesias and pink tulips given to her by an officer in ceremonial uniform.
Other gifts included a special cake with a golden crown on top.
After greeting the assembled fans the princess also visited the Victoria Battalion and the Swedish Association of Bakers.
The old Swedish name day calendar, sanctioned by the Swedish Academy in 1901, was granted official status in 1972.
Every day of the year is assigned a name with some referring to traditional or religious feasts.
