TRIO QUIT QUICKSILVER
Award-winning bluegrass band DOYLE LAWSON & QUICKSILVER have been forced to undergo a reshuffle following the departure of three members.
Banjo player TERRY BAUCOM and fiddler MIKE HARTGROVE have already quit the group, while guitarist JAMIE DAILEY has announced he’ll be leaving at the end of the year (07) to start a new group with bluegrass stalwart DARRIN VINCENT.
Baucom and Hartgrove have already been replaced.
In a statement, Lawson says, "I don’t like changes when they occur, but when they do, you just get on with life.
"I’m really happy that I was able to find replacements this quickly."
