THE VIEW GAIN ENTRY INTO THE US

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 9:08 am

LATEST: Scottish rockers THE VIEW have been granted entry into the US, despite a recent drugs charge against the band’s singer.
KYLE FALCONER, 19, was fined £1,000 ($1,900) by Dundee Sheriff’s Court in Scotland earlier this month (MAR07) for possession of 2.5 grams of cocaine last August (06) - with The View’s proposed North American road trip cancelled because of visa difficulties.
But the band will embark on a ten-date tour of the US and Canada next month (APR07), despite Falconer’s solicitor’s belief the ruling would ruin The View’s plans to break America.
Speaking earlier this month (MAR07), he said, "A conviction for drugs means it is next to impossible to gain entry into the USA."
