LONDON TUBE BOMBING INSPIRES MOVIE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:17 pm

The bombs which tore apart the London transport system on 7 July 2005 have inspired a new movie about terrorism.
THE ROAD TO GUANTANAMO co-director MAT WHITECROSS has already written a script for new project UNDERGROUND - a fictional story about a series of blasts on the London transport network during a national election.
He says, "The bombing’s the backdrop to what will be an intimate drama focusing on several different people’s lives. It’s a way of exploring what the climate is in London after the Tube bombings.
"You get on the Tube and there are 50 to 80 different stories, just waiting to be told, and I want to interweave some of those to get a snapshot of London now." Over 50 people were killed in the four bombings, which brought London’s public transport system to a standstill.
