Britain’s Prince Harry’s fellow soldiers have come up with an ingenious plan to protect the royal on the front line - wearing ginger wigs.

The soldiers from the Blues and Royals regiment, who will be deployed to Iraq with the prince in May, will don the hairpieces in an attempt to confuse any terrorists planning to kidnap Harry.
The troops have reportedly been going to novelty shops to pick up the ginger wigs to wear under their helmets.
A source told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper: ‘When we’ve got them on, no one will be able to tell Harry apart from the rest of us - at least that’s the idea.’ Harry is currently undergoing special training in combating terrorist hostage takers, after Islamic extremists threatened to assassinate him.
The prince and his Army comrades will pose as hooded hostages in role-play training exercises which will see them learn how to tackle kidnap situations.
Army chiefs fear that the 22-year-old prince will become a target for Islamic militant group al-Qaeda, who could capture Harry and use him as a tool for publicity.
