McGRAW & HILL TEAM UP WITH JEEP FOR FIRST WESTERN CANADA SHOWS
Country couple TIM McGRAW and FAITH HILL will play their first shows together in western Canada when the 2007 leg of their joint Soul2Soul tour hits North America this summer (07).
The husband-and-wife team unveiled details of their Jeep-sponsored tour yesterday (07MAR07) at a press conference at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, Tennessee.
The 34-date tour will begin on 6 June (07) in Nebraska and will include six performances in western Canada.
The 2006 Soul2Soul dates remain the bestselling country tour ever.
Meanwhile, the couple parked the red 1978 Jeep, in which they spent their first dates, outside yesterday’s press conference as part of a tribute to their new tour sponsors.
Hill tracked down the Jeep McGraw drove on their first dates together in 1996 and bought it for his birthday in 2005.
