GERVAIS REFUSES TO DIET
English funnyman RICKY GERVAIS refuses to diet, insisting his success in the TV and film industry has nothing to do with his waistline.
Unlike many of his contemporaries, who devotes hours to working out each day, Gervais is content with his plump frame.
The EXTRAS star says, "I don’t diet - and that’s on purpose.
"I don’t want to be in the paper for anything like that. I want to be successful, but I don’t want people think I love fame - because I don’t.
"I think it’s slightly sad and distasteful."
