FEARS FOR GOODREM’S HEALTH
Australian star DELTA GOODREM feared the cancer she had fought and beat had returned when she was rushed to hospital in Ireland last month (FEB07).
The 22-year-old actress-turned-singer was admitted to Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital after complaining of stomach pains.
After tests it was discovered her condition was not connected to the Hodgkin’s lymphoma she was first diagnosed with in 2003.
But Goodrem and her former WESTLIFE singer boyfriend BRIAN McFADDEN feared the worst.
McFadden says, "They thought it was appendicitis at first, but it’s not. Her body is still very weak from the cancer, so she gets scares like this all of the time.
"But it’s fine. She is going to be fine."
