BRIDE HURLEY ‘TOO SAD’ TO INVITE GRANT
Newlywed ELIZABETH HURLEY decided to leave ex-boyfriend HUGH GRANT off the guest list to her English country wedding party last week (03MAR07), because she thought it would be too "sad" for both of them.
The model, 41, wed long-term love ARUN NAYAR in a secret civil ceremony on Friday (02MAR07), before celebrating with a string of famous friends at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire the following day.
Ahead of the wedding, tabloids speculated the NOTTING HILL actor would attend the party because of his close friendship with Hurley, however she has now admitted he wasn’t invited.
Hurley says, "We decided not to invite either Hugh or Arun’s ex-wife VALENTINA (PEDRONI). We adore our exes but we thought it would make all four of us feel a bit sad." Hurley and Grant ended their 13 year relationship in May 2000, while Nayar divorced Italian model Pedroni in 2005.
