MILLS AND McCARTNEY FACE EACH OTHER IN COURT
SIR PAUL McCARTNEY and his estranged wife HEATHER MILLS faced each other in a London court yesterday (28FEB07), for the first hearing in their divorce battle.
A judge was to decide whether Mills’ allegations - that McCartney physically and verbally abused her during their four year marriage - could be used during their divorce.
The former BEATLE was accused of pushing Mills over a coffee table and shoving her into a bath while she was pregnant, according to leaked legal papers.
Neither party spoke during the High Court hearing in London, nor did they have to give evidence.
The couple, who have a three-year-old daughter, BEATRICE, are expected back in court today (01MAR07).
