FOXY BROWN PLEADS GUILTY TO PROBATION VIOLATION
LATEST: US rapper FOXY BROWN has pleaded guilty to a probation violation for leaving New York without permission.
In Manhattan Criminal Court today (01MAR07), Judge MELISSA JACKSON said Brown’s sentence will continue the six months’ probation she is already serving.
The 27-year-old rapper was arrested on 15 February (07) after a fight at a beauty store in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
Authorities charged her with resisting an officer and simple battery.
Judge Jackson warned the star, real name INGA MARCHAND, if there are any other probation infractions, "I’m reserving the right to re-sentence you to jail for one year." Brown was sentenced to the probation and anger management classes after a fight at a New York City nail salon in 2004.
