She says, "I love taking public transportation when I can and being with people because that’s what I do, that’s my job.
"When actors become famous, they become more solitary. But when you start losing touch with people, you lose touch with life."

LATEST: BRITNEY SPEARS’ estranged husband KEVIN FEDERLINE will make just $1 million (£550,000) from their marriage, according to reports.
The pair reached an agreement after a five-hour meeting in Los Angeles on Thursday (29MAR07), based on a prenuptial agreement signed before they married in September 2004.
According to newspaper reports, Federline has settled for a payout of just $1 million from Spears’ estate, which is valued at anything between $50 million (£27.5 million) and $100 million (£55 million).
The former couple also reached an agreement over custody of their two children, 18-month-old SEAN PRESTON and six-month-old JAYDEN JAMES. Spears is thought to have gained custody with Federline granted full visiting rights. Spears appeared happy with the outcome of the talks - she grinned at photographers who caught up with her just hours after coming out of the meeting.
The agreement must be approved by a judge before their divorce is finalised.

THE QUEEN Oscar winner DAME HELEN MIRREN has bought her own castle in southern Italy.
The 60-year-old actress has paid $1.25 million (£680,000) for the run-down 500-year-old estate in Puglia, which is within walking distance to the Mediterranean Sea.
Mirren and director husband TAYLOR HACKFORD have met with locals and officials to finalise the purchase, but builders claim the star will have to spend to least $1 million (£550,000) restoring the castle and making it fit for habitation.

Hollywood star JOHN TRAVOLTA was stunned when acting veteran SIR SEAN CONNERY personally asked to dance with him.

The WAITING FOR TONIGHT singer has been barred from 50 Ritmo Latino stores after failing to promote new Spanish-language album COMO AMA UNA MUJER (HOW A WOMAN LOVES) in the music outlets.
Ritmo president DAVID MASSRY has branded the star’s ‘Jenny from the Block’ persona a fallacy - insisting the star has lost touch with her roots.
He says, "We’ve supported her from the beginning. Now we’re told by her record company she will only visit Anglo retail outlets.
"This is a Spanish-language CD, and if she wants to discriminate against the Latin community, then we will not sell her product.
"This is not the first time this has happened. Celebrities have this notion that when they reach a certain level of crossover appeal, they forget quickly where they started."

The 44-year-old’s Korean-born wife NIKKI PARK gave birth to son ALIMAYU MOA-T on Monday (26MAR07).
According to the actor’s spokesperson, both Park and the tot are "doing well".
Alimayu is Snipes’ third child; the couple are parents to daughter ISET, who was born in 2001. Son JELANI ASAR, 19, is from Snipe’s previous marriage.

British pop stars the PET SHOP BOYS narrowly avoided death when fragments of a meteor missed hitting a plane they were travelling on.
Bandmembers NEIL TENNANT and CHRIS LOWE were sleeping onboard a LAN Chile Airbus flight from Chile to New Zealand, when the burning rock fragments zoomed past the plane - missing the aircraft by just 40 seconds.
Tennant, 52, says, "We were blissfully unaware of it. We didn’t know anything had happened until the next morning when the waitress at breakfast said, ‘Are you glad to be alive?’ "Then we realised with horror what had happened. Our friends and families started calling us in a panic to find out if we were ok."

JOHN LENNON damaged a valuable HENRI MATISSE painting by using it as an ash tray during a wild party at the Playboy mansion in 1974, HUGH HEFNER claims.
The French artist’s works have sold for up to $15 million (£8 million) at auction, but amazingly Hefner forgave the former BEATLE for stubbing out his cigarette on the priceless painting - because Lennon was one of his heroes.
The 80-year-old says, "He was separated briefly from his wife YOKO ONO and was in a very bad mood.
"He was drinking a great deal. He misbehaved a little bit and a couple of my friends took exception to it.
"He put a cigarette out on a Matisse and one of my friends was going to kick his butt. But he’d been drinking.
"He was under tremendous pressure, and Lennon was one of my heroes."

ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s longtime companion and lawyer, HOWARD K. STERN, has challenged the tragic model’s ex-boyfriend over claims he’s her daughter’s biological father, insisting his dates don’t add up.
Filing an appeal in the Bahamas-based DNA battle for paternity of baby DANNIELYNN, Stern claims his love rival, LARRY BIRKHEAD, can’t be the father.
In his affidavit, the lawyer reveals Birkhead and Smith’s romance ended "well before the preceding 280th day (pregnancy period) from the birth of Dannielynn Howard Marshall Stern." Stern, who is named as the baby’s father on her birth certificate, also insists that, despite claims to the contrary, his late girlfriend never "resided" with Birkhead at his California home.
Stern’s appeal will be presented in court on Monday (02APR07).

The Brit, who was discovered on UK talent show STAR FOR A NIGHT, admits she was a big fan of the first season of Idol, but the programme no longer appeals to her.
She says, "I think if you keep going with it, it’s gonna get more and more cheesy… and that’s a shame for the artists, because they just want any break." Stone also questions the credentials of the show’s judges and believes they’re too mean.
She adds, "There’s some great people there, like RANDY (JACKSON)… He has every right to judge them. But the rest of them… why are you judging these people?"

Action man ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER came to the rescue of a young girl in Delano, California on Thursday (29MAR07) when she passed out as he was giving a speech.
The TERMINATOR star-turned-California Governor was speaking to students and teachers at Cesar Chavez High School after presenting them with a portrait of civil rights leader Chavez when the girl fainted onstage.
Schwarzenegger immediately halted his speech, handed the microphone to an aide and picked the girl up. As she came to, the movie icon-turned-politician made sure the girl was OK as teachers helped her from the stage.
