Vaccinations have been recommended for guests who ate uncooked food at the party or 13 other events catered by Wolfgang Puck Catering from February 1-20.
Carl Schuster, president of Wolfgang Puck Catering, said: ‘While the risk of infection is low, we will continue to work with to bring a speedy resolution to this investigation. After the cook was placed on medical leave we immediately worked to take every precaution to further safeguard our patrons and other employees.’ A representative for Beyoncé confirmed they ‘were looking into it’.
Other guests at risk include Leonardo DiCaprio’s former lover model Bar Refaeli.
Hepatitis A can be transmitted in contaminated food or through the poor hygiene of an infected person.
Symptoms include nausea, mild fever, and aching muscles. In severe cases the disease can cause liver failure.
Most patients recover fully after two months.

The rap mogul - real name Sean Combs - is being investigated by Los Angeles police for a reported battery.
The alleged incident occurred at Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel, opposite the Kodak Theatre where the Academy Awards were held on Sunday night (25.02.07).
Police spokesman, officer Jason Lee, said yesterday (27.02.07): ‘A report of battery has been made against Combs at the Roosevelt Hotel on Sunday.’ Real estate agent Gerard Rechnitzer, 27, is believed to have filed the report.
It is claimed Rechnitzer was at a post-Oscar party with his fiancée at Teddy’s nightclub in the Roosevelt Hotel.
At around 2am on Monday morning (26.02.07), Rechnitzer visited the bathroom and upon his return found his fiancée surrounded by six men, including Diddy.
Rechnitzer allegedly watched as the rapper flirted with his fiancée for about five minutes, before the estate agent asked her to leave with him.
Diddy then reportedly told the woman he was having a party and invited her.
Rechnitzer again asked her to leave with him. The rap star then allegedly punched the estate agent in the jaw.
Rechnitzer called emergency services and filed a report with the LAPD. Diddy left before they arrived. Rechnitzer declined the offer of medical treatment.
The LAPD contacted Rechnitzer and five witnesses on Tuesday.
