CAVE DESPERATE TO RECORD WITH MINOGUE AGAIN
Veteran singer NICK CAVE would love to team up with pop star KYLIE MINOGUE again, because he found working with the diminutive singer in 1995 a "magical" experience.
The 49-year-old duetted with fellow Australian Minogue on 1995’s WHERE THE WILD ROSES GROW, and is keen to repeat the success of the song with the SPINNING AROUND star, who recently successfully battled breast cancer, in the near future.
He says, "I would jump at the opportunity to perform with Kylie Minogue again because she’s so wonderful. I sent her flowers when she was ill, but I’m sure they would have got absorbed into the many.
"Working with her was magical because it was very natural." And Cave, whose new band GRINDERMAN releases its debut album next month (MAR07), is hoping Minogue will be encouraged by his new sound to collaborate with him again.
He adds, "I’ll send one to Kylie. She will be entertained if nothing else."
