Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 3:34 pm

MINNIE DRIVER, TAYLOR DAYNE and ROSARIO DAWSON were among the stars who gave the Independent Spirit Awards a few musical highlights when they performed quirky songs dedicated to the ceremony’s five Best Feature nominees.
Driver paid a musical tribute to fantasy film PAN’S LABYRINTH by performing a reworked version of MELANIE’s BRAND NEW BICYCLE, and Dayne sang SCREWED UP FAMILY to the tune of SISTER SLEDGE’s disco anthem WE ARE FAMILY, to honour LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, while SIN CITY star Dawson and JEREMY RENNER duetted on CRACK-HEAD TEACHER MAN, a reworked version of ARETHA FRANKLIN’s SON OF A PREACHER MAN - their tribute to HALF NELSON.
