DeGENERES TIPPED FOR OSCAR GLORY BY PSYCHIC
Academy Awards host ELLEN DeGENERES is convinced she will win a golden statuette of her own one day.
The 49-year-old was once tipped for Oscar glory by a psychic, and she was disappointed when her voice role in 2003 computer- animated comedy FINDING NEMO didn’t earn her a nomination.
She recalls, "A long time ago a psychic told me I was going to win an Oscar.
She told me all these things that actually happened. I thought she was crazy but there was a chance, when I did Finding Nemo, I’d be nominated. I wasn’t but I thought, ‘I’ll win an Oscar for being a fish.’"
