Actress NICOLE KIDMAN and her husband, fellow Australian KEITH URBAN, have committed to life in Nashville, Tennessee and now plan to buy a farm there.
The couple have called the country music capital home since they wed in Australia last summer (06) and now have permanent plans to live the country life.
Kidman says, "It’s a great town and it’s actually been a great place for me to go and just be myself.
"We’re gonna get a farm and I really want a goat… just to possibly contribute to helping me make goat’s cheese, which is my favourite cheese."

NICOLE KIDMAN fought back proud tears as pal RUSSELL CROWE poured praise on her husband KEITH URBAN during a recent TV chat, taped for OPRAH WINFREY’s first Oscars special, which aired on US TV last night (22FEB07).
The actress and Crowe agreed to get candid in a Beverly Hills hotel suite for the intimate star-to-star interview, and Kidman almost lost her famous composure when her GLADIATOR pal probed her about her husband’s recent rehab stint for alcoholism.
The actress begged Crowe to change his line of questioning, telling him, "You’ll make me cry now, so stop it," but the actor insisted on letting her know how he felt about his fellow Antipodean.
He stated, "It’s very courageous of him to just pack up his toothbrush… I think you need to see it from that prospective.
"He’s a proud man, he’s a very creative soul and for him to just go, ‘Right, I need to do this thing for the rest of my life to progress,’ that’s pretty cool." Urban checked into rehab last autumn (06) and spent three months seeking counselling. Upon checking out last month (JAN07), the country singer praised his wife for her support in a video message recorded for his website.
Speaking to Crowe about the struggles the couple has faced, Kidman revealed, "Keith’s doing very well. We’ve been through a lot… We’ve dug really deep."

LATEST: Action man-turned-blues guitarist STEVEN SEAGAL has turned down the chance to return to the movie franchise that made him an international superstar.
Seagal was offered the chance to star in a third UNDER SIEGE movie, but didn’t like the script, according to website JoBlow.com.
The martial arts star played Navy SEAL CASEY RYBACK in the first two films.

The lawyer says, "This judge had already decided what he was going to do before he heard the first word of evidence and this was his moment of glory in the sun.
"The entire nation was watching him, so he wanted to do the most bizarre thing he could."

DREAMGIRLS star ANIKA NONI ROSE will wear designer STUART WEITZMAN’s Diamond Dream Shoe to the 79th Academy Awards on Sunday (25FEB07).
The actress, who will perform Best Song nominee PATIENCE at the Oscars, was selected as Weitzman’s personal model at this year’s prizegiving for her "grace and charm".
Weitzman has created a silver evening shoe with a stiletto heel, adorned with 1,420 individual brilliant cut Kwiat diamonds, set in platinum circles, exclusively for Rose.
The shoe is valued at $500,000 (£256,400).

ANNA NICOLE SMITH’s first husband has waded into the debate about where his late ex-wife is buried after insisting her estranged mother appeals a ruling to lay her to rest in The Bahamas.
Attorney RICHARD MILLSTEIN, who was awarded the remains in a Florida court yesterday (22FEB07) on behalf of Anna Nicole’s baby daughter DANNIELYNN, plans to follow Judge LARRY SEIDLIN’s recommendation that the body be laid to rest next to her son DANIEL in The Bahamas.
The two parties contesting the burial site - Smith’s mother VIRGIE ARTHUR, who wanted to take the remains back to Texas, and the late model’s companion HOWARD K. STERN - appeared to be united after the court ruling, but Arthur has since appealed the order.
She now states that her appeal came after she spoke to her former son-in-law BILLY SMITH, who insisted he wanted his ex-wife buried on a family plot in her native Texas.
Arthur explains, "The Judge talked to Billy Smith… and he said he wanted them (Anna Nicole and his son, Daniel) buried together… but what he meant was he wanted Anna to be buried with Danny (and) he didn’t mean in The Bahamas, he meant in Texas, where the family was." And Arthur’s lawyer JOHN O’QUINN insists Judge Seidlin’s misunderstanding presented grounds for an appeal, and he plans to fight on.
He adds, "Under Florida law… the mother of Anna Nicole Smith is the only person to handle this burial… It ain’t over ’til it’s over. Maybe the first inning’s over but we got some more innings to play and, at the end, we will get victory."

LATEST: AMERICAN IDOL winner FANTASIA BARRINO has confirmed she’s set to make her Broadway debut in OPRAH WINFREY’s THE COLOR PURPLE musical.
Appearing on a live American Idol last night (22FEB07), the singer announced she’ll play the leading role of CELIE from 10 April (07).
And to prove she’s got what it takes to play the part, Barrino performed Celie’s heart-wrenching I’M HERE ballad on the TV talent contest.

Composer SIR ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER is giving an unknown teenager her big break after she stunned guests at his annual arts festival.
Ambitious ANDREA ROSS was just 13 when she sent Lloyd Webber a demo of her singing via the Internet. The composer then booked her for his Sydmonton Arts Festival in England.
Two years later, he has produced the teen’s debut album, MOON RIVER.
He says, "I first heard Andrea singing when she sent me her music via the internet. She was just 13 and I immediately invited her to perform at my arts festival, where she delighted the audience.
"Andrea is still only 15 and it is going to be great to see her develop, as she has enormous potential to become a very big artist." Ross’ first album will be released next month (MAR07).

MARY J BLIGE and NELLY FURTADO have teamed up with MTV to present a series of new health shows.
The music stars will talk candidly about their own physical and mental health battles as part of an upcoming series, called HALF OF US, which will be broadcast on MTV’s 24-hour college network, MTVu.

The singer had only started to really get to know PAULA WHITE when her mother passed away in her sleep on 28 January (07).
Hill and her husband TIM McGRAW secretly attended the funeral in Florida earlier this month (03FEB07) and even insisted on keeping her mother’s identity a secret in the obituary.
The passing notes read, "She leaves her daughter AUDREY McGRAW and her husband SAMUEL of Franklin, Tennessee." Audrey is Hill’s real first name and Samuel is McGraw’s. The couple live in Franklin.
In the 15 years since mother and daughter reunited, Hill discovered she has a half-brother, ZACHARY, and she was informed that her father, EDWIN WHITE, was killed in a car crash when she was about 10.

An Australian man who caught a shark with his bare hands has blamed his antics on alcohol.
Phillip Kerkhof was fishing at Louth Bay, South Australia, and had been drinking vodka when he spotted the four foot bronze whaler shark swimming in shallow waters.
Kerkhof said: "I just snuck up behind him, and eventually I went for the big grab and I fluked it and got him. He was just thrashing around in the water, trying to bite me and I thought ‘well, it’s amazing what vodka does.’" The shark bit a hole in Kerkhof’s jeans, but he escaped injury.
Kerkhof added: "It’s not something I’d recommend to do. When I sobered up I thought about it and I said, ‘I’m a bit of an idiot for doing it.’"

A routine appendix operation in Serbia went badly wrong when the two surgeons began fighting.
Spasoje Radulovic was performing the surgery in Belgrade when his colleague Dragan Vukanic entered the operating theatre and made a remark which sparked the quarrel.
The pair then stormed out to resolve the argument, but a full-blown fight ensued.
The anaesthesiologist on duty said: "At one moment Vukanic pulled the ear of the operating doctor, slapped him in the face and walked out." The tussle resulted in bruises, a split lip, loose teeth and a fractured finger.
An attending assistant doctor completed the operation successfully.
