THREE’S THE CHARM FOR TIMBERLAKE
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE’s FUTURESEX/LOVESOUNDS album is proving to be a super hit generator - the third single released from it has hit number one in America.
Timberlake’s WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND joins SEXYBACK and MY LOVE after leaping up the US singles chart from eight to number one.
It is the single’s 11th week on the chart, but its rise to the top was propelled by the release of Timberlake’s steamy new video with actress SCARLETT JOHANSSON.
Meanwhile, NELLY FURTADO’s SAY IT RIGHT, which topped the Billboard charts last week (15FEB07), falls to number three.
The highest new entry on the new chart belongs to British singer CORINNE BAILEY RAE, who lands at 56 with LIKE A STAR - the song she performed with JOHN MAYER and JOHN LEGEND at the Grammy Awards.
On the new album chart, NORAH JONES climbs back to the top with NOT TOO LATE.
The album debuted at number one at the beginning of February (07), but was replaced at the top by FALL OUT BOY’s INFINITY ON HIGH last week (14FEB07).
The highest new entry on the new album chart belongs to tragic soul star GERALD LEVERT, whose final album, IN MY SONGS, enters at number two.
